Gina Thompson is a multi-talented artist with a background in sculpture and installation art. She is based in Atlanta, Georgia, and holds an MFA in Sculpture from Georgia State University, as well as a BFA in Furniture Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Her diverse educational background provides her with a rich artistic foundation for her work.
Over her career spanning more than 16 years, Gina has held various roles in the creative industry, including photo stylist, art director, and showroom design. These roles have greatly influenced her perspective and equipped her to excel in large-scale projects with substantial budgets and diverse teams.
In 2012, Gina founded Voyeur Designs, a company specializing in installation art for retail spaces, homes, and events. Her ability to create immersive and visually captivating installations has garnered recognition and acclaim.
Gina's talents and dedication to her craft were further acknowledged when she was awarded the Andrew M. West Memorial Scholarship in 2014. Additionally, she was invited to speak at the National Arts Marketing conference in 2015, which reflects her standing in the artistic community.
Currently, Gina works as an Interior Designer at Home Depot's corporate office, where her expertise is used in shaping interior spaces. She also shares her knowledge and passion for art and design as an adjunct professor at Georgia State University, teaching courses in 3D design and Art History.
